Recently in Philadelphia a group of young people went after children on a playground. Bats swinging, they injured many. Teachers were not able to stop this group of terroristic attackers. Students had been out for recess when the attack happened. Most injuries were minor and were treated by the nurse on staff. Police did catch 2 of the culprits and put them behind bars, but both were juveniles.
What possessed them to attack 4th and 5th graders on a playground? No answer has been given by police, but I wonder if this is just a preliminary of what might be in the future. There is too much abuse of children going on lately. It has got to be stopped.
