Updated news reports state there is now a $20,000 reward for information as to where this child is. Police are questioning a pedophile cousin of Mr. Cummings girlfriend Misty Croslin. He happened to be visiting the area when the little girl went missing. Detectives are not excluding anyone as being a suspect at this time. Ms. Croslin has told different stories to police as to the night Haleigh went missing. Both Mr. Cummings and Ms. Croslin have submitted to lie detector tests and have told reporters they “passed”. Police are not releasing any of the results of the lie detector tests.
I find it disturbing that no traces of this little girl have been found up to now. It’s been almost 2 weeks now. Is she dead or alive? Did someone take her to another state? Is she being held prisoner by some pervert? Or will she be found like Kaylee Anthony? My heart goes out to the family who cares about this child-the ones who are waiting for any signs that she might still be alive. The anguish they are suffering due to a cruel person taking their little one away from them has to be devastating. I do hope for the best, but I fear the worst.

My wife and I live 5 miles from where Haleigh lives. We have created a forum to support the hope for her return. We hope everyone will pay it a visit and show their support.

Update: Geraldo Rivera interviewed Robert Cummings to ask about some allegations that had been reported. One report said Robert Cummings had beaten both Crystal (his wife) and Haleigh. Mr. Cummings denied hitting either of them, although he did say he had spanked Haleigh a few times when necessary. Another question was about Mr. Cummings being a drug user, especially using cocaine. Reports were that marijuana had been found in the trailer and was growing around the exterior of the trailer. Robert denied all the drug allegations and demanded to know who had started that rumor. The interview got a bit heated at that point as Robert Cummings got very upset and pleaded with the person(s) who knew where Haleigh was to bring her home.

I don’t believe we will ever really know what the girlfriend knows. Like Kaylee’s mom, she is being too secretive. The Lord is watching over Haleigh. We need to keep praying. The wicked people out there who prey on small innocent children will be punished. It makes me want to cry when I hear there is no news.

Another update: The little brother known as Junior told his mom that Haleigh was taken by a man dressed all in black. The mother said she wasn’t questioning the child further. Meanwhile Chief Deputy Ryan said the family has been very cooperative with the investigation and seem happy with the efforts police have used in trying to locate Haleigh. She is their #1 priority at this time.

I THINK THE GIRLFRIEND LEFT THE DOOR OPEN AND WENT OUT TO PARTY AT A TRAILER CLOSE BY. SHE PROBABLY STATED THAT THE KIDS WERE HOME ALONE AND SHE WOULD HAVE TO CHECK ON THEM. WHO EVER OVERHEARD THAT PROBABLY TOOK HER. OR COULD IT BE AN UNSETTLED DRUG DEBT? GOD KEEP HER IN YOUR ARMS.

Very good points. I wonder if the other residents of the trailer park were questioned by the police. Drugs? Loan sharks? One never really knows. I do know it’s been much too long now and I wonder if that child is still alive. Statistics will tell you the more days missing the less of a chance this child is alive. God, I hate statistics like that! Keep Haleigh safe, Lord!

I am praying for this family. It is nothing like Caylee Anthony this family is working with the police and looking for her. I still pray for the Anthony Family it is hard for an Grandparent I know because I am one. Let the family know that even with me being in Kansas my thought and prayers are with them.

I agree. This case is not like Caylee. To lose a beloved child or grandchild has got to be devistating. But these grandparents are trying to be very upbeat and hopeful. We can only keep praying Haleigh will be found soon.

Here it is five months gone along with Haleigh Cummings…is new step moma THAT clever to pass polygraph testing? Daddy was at work so he has an alibi. But why is this mystery taking so long to solve?

Because the right person has not come forward with the right information for the police. Someone out there saw or knows what happened to Haleigh, but they are afraid to say something. Yes, her daddy has an alibi, but I think the new step mom had something to do with Haleigh’s disappearance. Perhaps she was jealous of Haleigh. Perhaps she didn’t get along very well with Haleigh. Who knows what was going on when the daddy went to work. Only his new wife.
