And didn’t Sandra cry when she was being brutally tortured? When she was being raped and killed? What was this woman thinking! She needs to have her life taken away for what she did. No child deserves to have this done to her/him. But Huckaby’s parents say she’s a good mother!!!!! If she was my child I would turn my back on her after I told her to her face what I think of her. How could she do this? What brings a person to do this stuff to a little kid? Perhaps after death the experts can analyze her brain to see what was wrong with her because I don’t believe she will tell anyone the real reason why she did such a horrible thing to poor Sandra. I feel for Sandra’s parents. They have to bury their child knowing she was hurt by an adult she trusted, someone they all knew from the neighborhood.

The 5 year old from Massachusetts was decapitated by her own 23 year old brother. He had stabbed his 17 year old sister who was able to call 911. When police arrived he had a knife at his sister’s neck and used such force in cutting her throat that he decapitated her. Police killed him. There had been other calls about domestic abuse at this same house concerning the brother.

In California on Friday 8 year old Sandra Cantu went missing. After school she had asked her mom if she could play with a friend just a few houses away. Given permission she did go to that friend’s house where she played for a while before going to the park. This is in a mobile home park where there are less than 100 houses. She was seen on surveillance camera footage playing in the park. She went to visit a second friend, but no one knows if she ever got there. Her parents reported her missing at 8 p.m. An Amber alert was issued and police have been combing the entire area, checking mobile homes by going door to door. The one thing that bothered me about this story is that there are 80 registered sex offenders within 5 miles of this child’s home. Just like Haleigh Cummings story.

We need to protect our children better. Parents, don’t let your child walk even a few doors away without going with her. Don’t let children out of your sight! And make sure your child knows what to do if someone should try to grab them. Scream as loud as you can. Kick, bite, scratch. Aim for the jugular or eyes. Check with the local police department to learn more. We need to keep our children as safe as possible.

Once again innocent people were hurt or killed. Perhaps they had little to do with why he snapped and began his killing spree. Perhaps someone had argued with him prior to the party. But why on Christmas Eve when people were celebrating this special holiday? Why dress up as Santa? I wish there was a way the truth about his murderous visit could be learned. Perhaps we will never know what set him off. I pray for the remaining members of that family. They have to live with the horrible memories of that night. Christmas for them will never be the same. They now have to wait to bury their dead because the bodies were so badly burned it will take weeks to identify them all. They will always remember Christmas Eve as the anniversary of death. Feel sorry for the young girl who was shot in the face. Only 9, she will have to deal with surgery, recovery, and a horrible memory.  Pray for this family. They need it more than ever.
