Two famous women talking about Palin’s new book Going Rougue. I found this interview fascinating. Sarah Palin came across like a neighbor discussing local events and family with another neighbor. Calm and relaxed, she gave good responses to the questions Oprah asked her. It was nothing like the Katie Couric interview, which I felt there was too much background noise. Even with the audience in Oprah’s studio, Palin didn’t seem as rushed as she did with Couric. Was it the interviewer who made her feel more relaxed and at ease? Or was it the fact that she was no longer a candidate for Vice President?

Even questions about her daughter Bristol and the ex boyfriend Levi didn’t seem to phase Palin. She answered questions honestly and without anger directed at Levi. Of course, she was correct in reminding everyone that teenage pregnancy is something that needs to be discussed among families. She did admit not having a good feelings about Levi’s road to fame and his willingness to pose for Playgirl. I don’t know if I wouldn’t feel the same. The choices of the younger generation can rattle a parent’s nerves very quickly. But Sarah Palin stayed calm as Oprah asked if Levi was welcome for Thanksgiving dinner. Palin smiled and gave an open invitation.

I felt this interview went extremely well and Palin should be pleased with the whole thing. I am sure Oprah was pleased. Promoting her book and discussing her future, Palin was smiling all the while. Perhaps she does have a future in American politics. Only time will tellic,.

Obama interview with Barbara Walters

My Opinion

Barbara Walters

interview

Obama
<guid

I felt he answered each question very eloquently and thoughtfully. Had he come across like that during the election he would have won by a landslide. I have to be honest, I did not vote for him. Not because he is half black, but because I didn’t like the way he answered questions and basically skirted the issues that were presented. I didn’t feel he would be able to lead the U.S. for 4 years. Now, I have to admit I have changed my opinion of him. In the past week he has begun surrounding himself with people who have the knowledge and determination to help him with his presidency. He has gained my respect for the topics he intends to address first. I do hope and pray that he will become a great leader. And I hope people will respect him for the ideas he has to turn the economy around. I enjoyed the interview he and Michelle had with Barbara Walters. They both came across as very intelligent, graceful people who care very much about each other and will support each other more in the future.

Biden’s interview with WFTV

My Opinion

Barbara West

Biden

interview

Marxist

Obama
<guid

The questions she asked were definitely not stupid ones, but he seemed to insult her by insinuating that she was asking questions he shouldn’t have to answer. In a sense he was doing what Obama tends to do best-evade the question by going in circles to skirt a decent answer. As for Ms. West’s questions about spreading the wealth and creating a Marxist type of government, Mr. Biden really did not give a direct answer. This does frighten me. Are we to have a government much like the Soviet Union? Personally, I would not be happy about that. Obama tends to have created a nation of “sleeper cells” who will vote for him, lambs being brought to the slaughter on Election Day.
