The main person of interest was Najobullah Zazi, 24, of Denver. He and his father were arrested. The FBI said Zazi had information on his lap top on how to build bombs. He had also been in New York, filming a cell phone video of Grand Central Station and researching baseball and football stadiums. Zazi, an Afghanistan immigrant, insists he has done nothing wrong. But the FBI is taking this situation seriously.

Does this mean we need to keep an eye on our neighbors? Is every immigrant from that part of the world to be a suspect? I think we all need to keep on the alert, but we can’t judge our neighbors or that man who owns the local Asian store by what some have done or are doing. What this does mean is that the FBI is doing it’s job, combing out the terrorist threats, pulling people in for questioning ties to Al Qaeda, and making sure Americans are safe in their own country.
