It would seem to be these two issues, religion and race, might influence people deciding on which candidate to vote for. Obama being half black might sway some people to not vote for him, because they don’t want to have a black president. Then there are the religious issues…is Obama Muslim? Some articles I’ve read say no, some say yes. We have heard about his previous pastors. But have we been told the real story?
Governor Palin’s religious issues have also come to light. Her beliefs about creationism have stirred many minds to wondering just what is going on. Haven’t we as a country gone beyond this? We are no longer allowed to pray in schools, at school events, and elsewhere. We cannot have the Ten Commandments hung in the courthouses. Yet, religion is going to play a part in the voting for the next President? I, for one, would welcome back prayer in schools and the Ten Commandments being back at the courthouses. However, I do not feel we need to include someone’s religious beliefs when considering that person for political office. Comments are welcome. This is my opinion.

Sarah Palin is already a miserable failure. Every interview (what’s that? 2 or 3) she’s committed gaffes and once lost her train of thought.
She’s not mentally able to carry on a debate of ideas because she forgets the question half through her answer. Being a neighbor to Russia does NOT quialify her for foreign relations issues..lol…that was just funny…
Her first saying she’d answer to the troopergate issue then flip-flopping shows she’s dishonest and that’s typical of a GOP candidte.
She’s not fit to hold the office of VP.
