CAPITAL GAINS TAX

McCAIN

0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples).

McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA

28% on profit from ALL home sales.

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.

If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community,

28% of the money you make from your home sale will go to taxes.

This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

McCAIN

15% (no change)

OBAMA

39.6%

How will this affect you? If you have money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance,

retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will be paying nearly 40% of the money earned

on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that ‘Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would

crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.’

Under Obama, your taxes could almost double!

INHERITANCE TAX

McCAIN

- 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA

Restore the inheritance tax
Many families lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations

because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes more than 2,400 square feet.

New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren’t high enough already)

New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least….

New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

Troop support for McCain

November 1st, 2008 · No Comments · My Opinion

There are a few servicemen and women going around supporting McCain. Why? Because they know he will support them. Bill Wade likes McCain because McCain was theĀ  guy who said, “Look, this is broke and we need to fix it.” At the time McCain was talking about the war in Iraq. He also likes McCain because “He stood up to the Bush White House and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and I saw that as a true act of courage on his part”. As a soldier, Wade has seen action more than he wanted. Wade feels the leadership and courage McCain, a former POW, has shown both in the military and while serving in Congress makes him the ideal candidate for President. Wade also stated that he liked the way McCain stood up to the Bush administration regarding detainee torture, Guantanamo Bay, stood up against his own party and was berated, and the way McCain took a stand. McCain’s life is an open book. There is no secrecy as there is with Obama. You know where McCain comes from, where he’s going and where he stands. Obama is a good speaker, but does he really speak with conviction? Is he telling the truth? McCain won’t let the American people down. Will Obama?

Some of the information reported here came from an article by Kevin Ferris for the Philadelphia Inquirer. The article was printed for the November 2nd Sunday paper.

Is this Obama?

October 31st, 2008 · No Comments · My Opinion

Once again I do not know who gathered this information or who wrote it out, but it gives you something to think about.

“I was raised in one country, but my father was born in another. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with a number of women. I became very close to my mother because my father showed little interest in me. Then my mother died at an early age from cancer.Later in life, questions arose about my real name. My birth records were sketchy and no one was able produce a reliable birth certificate. I grew up practicing one faith, but converted to Christianity because this was widely accepted in my country. I practiced non-traditional beliefs and did not follow mainstream Christianity. I worked and lived among lower glass people as a young adult before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career. I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to all who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child. I became active in local politics when I was in my 30’s and then burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office when I was in my 40’s. I had a virtually non-existent resume, very little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker who managed to draw incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. At first my political campaign focused on my country’s foreign policy. I was critical of my country in the last war. What launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the the country’s economy. I had a plan on how we could do better. I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. Mine was a people’s campaign. I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics and was able to gain widespread popular support. I offered the people the hope that together we could change our country and the world. I spoke on behalf of the downtrodden including persecuted minorities such as Jews, but my actual views were not widely knows until AFTER I became my nation’s leader. However, anyone could have easily learned what I really believed if they had simply read my writing and examined those people I associated with. But they did not. I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth.”

Who am I? Adolph Hitler. Did you think it was Barrack Obama? The similarities are too unnerving!
