Great Info Tips

With all the noise happening regarding the health care plan, I wonder if half of what we are hearing is true. I have read articles, listened to reports on TV, and have been thinking what to do myself. Contacting my local representatives to Congress and the Senate seems to be the most important thing. Perhaps if we call, email, or write these important people, we may come to see they will do something good for this country.

I have heard of the so called “euthanasia” clause. I don’t believe that to be true. Perhaps counseling to help the senior citizens decide what they want in the way of a living will, regular will, and perhaps an idea of what may happen if they don’t have these things might help people understand better what their families will have to go through should the senior citizen get extremely ill and cannot survive without medical attention. Some people don’t want the doctors to go that extra mile to try to save them if they are brain damaged. This needs to be put in a written form for the family to have when needed. That’s important.

What worries me the most is that the government will make health care into a huge mess. Right now it’s bad enough. I am struggling with the company I have through my workplace. They have not yet paid hospital bills from the visit in May. They don’t seem to be willing to part with the necessary funds to pay the hospital stays I had this year, yet I have been paying into the system for years and years, not using much since I rarely end up in the hospital unless absolutely necessary. I don’t abuse the system, but they make me feel like I have.

Anyone willing to comment, or even begin a discussion on this issue is welcome. I will not berate anyone who comments. It’s a free country, state your case, learn more about this subject and become a better American citizen.
