Will Obama keep his promises about helping the unemployed in the U.S. once he swears in as President? If he does, then he may end up creating jobs in the following fields: green energy, heathcare, government, education, and small businesses. With the weak economy Obama will have to motivate the job market. With more healthcare to be provided to more Americans there could be an increase for healthcare workers. State and local jobs could be created with more aid offered to the states. Universal preschool will mean more educators will be needed. If the health insurance proposals Obama has proposed pass and he can eliminate capital gains taxes, then small businesses might flourish and be able to hire more people. There will also be government contract work, better unemployment benefits, and perhaps with more baby boomers getting ready to retire, jobs will not be as scarce as they now are. We can only hope for a better future.
