A time for patience from the American people as President Obama adjusts to his new role. Are people willing to wait to see if he can pull us out of this depression? Are they going to give him the necessary time to do what he needs to do? And then again, can he do what he has promised to do to help? Patience is a virtue, but are there enough virtuous people in the U.S.?
Today thousands of people stood side by side as they watched Obama be sworn in as President. Will they stand together if he should fail in his self appointed promises to us all? I have heard Obama called a Messiah, but that’s a huge title to step into. No one should expect miracles and yet I believe there are people who think in the first 100 days Obama will pull off miracles. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Give him time, be patient, stay calm and things will get done. If Obama does even 1/4 of what he promised in the first year of his term we will be fortunate. Keep your eyes and ears open and pray like you have not prayed before. Things will turn around. Keep the faith!
