To have all that pain and nothing to help, it just doesn't seem right. It's your right to do what you want, but I don't think I would be able to tolerate all that happening to me at the same time. I do agree that some doctors don't seem to know what they are doing at times. I still have the side pain now and then and still wonder what on earth is causing it. But I feel fine otherwise. And I often wonder why the doctors (there was a group of them) kept me in the hospital for a whole week.Have you tried over the counter medications and ointments to help yourself? Checked out homeopathic treatments? Sometimes the old fashioned ways of doing things are better than the trials and errors of the current treatments. Good luck to you. I feel sorry for you. I have shingles, the burning skin, kidney pain, leg pain, butt pain, rashes, even shallow breath at times, but there is no way in hell that I'm going to the f'kn doctor for it. It will run it's course and if my body can't fight it off...so be it. Man up people. Have you tried chiropractic? That worked for me. Also the chair I was sitting on needed to have a lumbar pad. Not saying it will work for you, but it's worth trying and not all that expensive. It is horrible. I came down with shingles on the back of my head. That was in may. it is now August and I still have one because I can't leave it alone. have swollen lymph nodes still in neck under where shingles were. I guess it was stress that brought it on since i lost my mother in Feb. Wow, I know I don't want them again If I ever get totally over it. Took 2 rounds of antibiotics. Yuk!!! My back also hurts and they say nothing wrong. wonder if that has to do with shingles as well... I hope you feel better soon. I so understand this. It is horrible.
