I can’t help but wonder how things are going with this family. Imagine having your “child” back after 18 years and inheriting 2 grandchildren at the same time! What was going on in her parents minds when they heard she had been found alive? Had they already buried her years ago? What did they think when they learned of the abuse she had endured those 18 years? Can you imagine the tight line they have to go now, trying very hard not to discuss certain things that might traumatize their daughter? And were the grandchildren also abused or raped? Yes, they were the daughters of their mother’s rapist, but did he also lust after them?
It will take years of therapy, years of tears, hugs, and love to mend the broken hearts and minds. Will they be able to put a lot of this behind them and go onward? Will the grandchildren be able to live a normal life? Will their mother, Jaycee, be forever on guard of someone snatching her girls on the street? The fear may always remain. It will be hard for all of them to learn to live normally. I hope they can find peace in each others arms.
While Jaycee being found after all those years has brought some comfort for families who have lost children to abductors, what is going through their minds? If their children are found, what then? It gives hope. That’s all we can ask for.

Oprah wants Jaycee Dugard.
The talk show queen told “The Insider” this week that the girl kidnapped 18 years ago is one of the rare interviews that she cares about landing.
“I want that interview,” Oprah told Samantha Harris. “Obviously, like everybody else in this business, I have ‘my people’ working on that. Now, this is the truth…I really don’t care about getting interviews first and all that stuff….Really, truly, I don’t play that game. I feel like if somebody wants to talk to me, they will talk to me. If they don’t want to talk to me and they want to talk to whomever, fine. But this is the one I want.”
Oprah added, “It’s the first time I have ever called up a producer and said, ‘Are we on this story? Because I want that interview!’”

Oprah doesn’t give a Rats Ass how Traumatic this could be for Jaycee. She just wants to Jack her show ratings.
And “Show” is the proper term for Oprah.

I actually feel bad for Jaycee because she is now a “celebrity” when she never wanted to be one. She won’t have a quiet life thanks to the jerk who kidnapped and held her hostage for 18 years. I am praying for Jaycee so she can find some peace in her life now, not having paparazzi shoving cameras in her face all the time. Or Oprah going after that interview. I wouldn’t watch it. I don’t care for Oprah.
