Sneaking in daily exercise

Here’s a few tips on getting exercise and not wearing yourself out doing a marathon session in the gym or at home. Don’t use the elevator if there are stairs to get to where you need to go. Don’t park the car so close to the store- give yourself a few minutes of extra walking by parking farther out in the lot. For errands that are close to your office, job, or home walk there. Exercise while talking on the phone if you can. Stretching those muscles, doing some squats, moving arms and legs will help give that little bit of extra exercise. While watching TV you can exercise, especially during commercials. Some of the commercials jingles or songs can get you moving. Walk to your coworker to discuss something instead of emailing or using their extension. Get together with friends or neighbors and walk.
