According to the police report Lisa’s father Jeremy Irwin came home from night shift work only to find lights on, the window open and the baby gone. Her mother Deborah Bradley had reportedly been sleeping. Searches have been ongoing in the past few days.

Please, if you have seen her or know of anyone suddenly having a 1 year old baby, report to the police. Even if it’s not Lisa at least you know you will have tried to help.

Pray for this child. His family needs him to be found.

What possessed them to attack 4th and 5th graders on a playground? No answer has been given by police, but I wonder if this is just a preliminary of what might be in the future. There is too much abuse of children going on lately. It has got to be stopped.

In Eastern China a man walked into a kindergarten class and stabbed 28 children along with 3 adults. In Southern China a man stabbed 16 children and a teacher. In early March a doctor stabbed 8 students to death. He was recently executed. This all is a big blow to the society of China.

The war in Afghanistan has taken many lives, including innocent children. Other wars and battles have resulted in schoolchildren being killed worldwide. Unfortunately, when a bomb is set off children suffer.They get caught in the crossfire.

In the U.S. it is estimated that 3 to 5 children are killed per day by a parent. Two hundred mothers are convicted of killing their children per year, a few of these on death row. Fathers are also responsible for killing their children.

I find this horrible. No innocent child should be killed by anyone, let alone their parents.Statistics show this happening much too often. Things have got to change! Help is needed for the families who even think about killing their children.

There are also parents who give huge amounts of money for their children to be sent to the United Kingdom to have a better way of life. What they don’t know is these children are used for prostitution or cheap labor. Girls are especially wanted as they are considered to be good cooks and housekeepers, but even boys are taken. Lured by false promises of  their children being better off, parents think nothing of paying these “fees” to send their children away.

There are over 140,000 homeless children roaming cities in Kenya, many of them having no identification since they were never registered to have been born. These children are the most vulnerable to being kidnapped and sent abroad to be used basically as “slaves”.  Some of the homeless children have resorted to prostitution to have money for food. Child sex tourism is very high in Kenya. All of this has to be stopped, but it will take a lot of deliberation from Unicef to get countries to stop this practise.
